University once again partners with Solihull College
Monday, 1 June, 2015

Solihull College is pleased to have again partnered with Oxford Brookes University to offer a variety of Higher Education courses. The partnership already offers a wide range of courses for students at Solihull College and this partnership grows stronger with new courses becoming available; the most recent addition being engineering degrees.

The courses available allow learners to study full or part-time which gives students the chance to work in their chosen industry whilst developing the skills and knowledge to take their career to the top. The fees for the courses are lower than many university fees and courses are flexible allowing students to fit their studies around work and family life.

The recently added courses which will be available for students from September 2015 are a Foundation Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Foundation Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. From September 2016 a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a BSc in Electronic Engineering courses will also be available at Solihull College, Woodlands Campus. The Engineering facilities at the College are excellent and Solihull College are constantly looking for ways in which to develop the campus to create new opportunities for students including an exciting future investment in an aviation centre.

Along with the engineering degrees there are many university level options for students. A University Level Open Event will take place at Solihull College’s Blossomfield Campus on Thursday 4th June 2015 between 6-8pm for people who are interested in taking the next step to higher education. The College not only partners with Oxford Brookes University but with other Universities including Warwick, Newman University, Coventry and Birmingham City. Courses available include HNCs, HNDs, Foundation Degrees, Top-Up Degrees, Degrees, Master Degrees and Professional Programmes and are offered across a variety of subject areas.
