Solihull College & University Centre is delighted to report a 100% pass rate for its T-level students, bucking the national trend of declining pass rates.
Students at the College achieved a 100% pass rate, with 74% earning high grades (Merits and Distinctions) in the three T-Level pathways: Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control; Digital Production, Design and Development; and Education and Childcare.
The success stands in stark contrast to the national picture, where pass rates have dipped below 90% this year.
T-Levels are in growing demand as the courses seamlessly blend classroom learning with substantial industry placements. With T-Levels now available at the College in a variety of subjects, including Animal Welfare, Construction, Health, and Science, alongside a range of other vocational qualifications, the future is bright for students looking for a hands-on route towards employment or university.
Principal, Dr Rebecca Gater, comments: “We are incredibly proud of our students’ outstanding T-Level achievements. These results showcase the College as a prime destination for students seeking technical pathways. We are also excited to be launching A-Level pathways this September for students looking for a more traditional academic route to university. We are committed to providing a diverse range of high-quality programs that equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to progress to higher education and/or thrive in their chosen careers.”
With school leavers due to receive their GCSE results, staff will be on hand to help and advise students deciding on their next steps at the College’s School Leaver Advice Days and late interview sessions.
