Spooktacular work by make up students

Hair & Media Make-up students at Solihull College & University Centre have been getting into the Halloween spirit from home this half term.

Students were given a brief to create the hair and make-up for a Halloween themed episode of a popular reality TV show. Students were asked to create a mood board and face + hair chart to showcase their planning and inspiration. They were then asked to create the make-up look on themselves in preparation for recreating it on a model after half term.

a female student has a clown style pattern around both eyes and black lips
a student has painted small ghosts on her face
a student has painted her face as a creepy doll
a student is painted neon green with a gaping toothed mouth across most of her face
a student has painted herself as a cracked china doll with cracks down her face

Hair & Media Make Up lecturer Katie Miller stated: “The make-up team were so impressed with how the students have embraced the Halloween theme this year. They have created some outstanding work and we are really looking forward to sharing some more of their Halloween themed looks at the upcoming Hair & Media Make Up Virtual Open Event on 25th November.”
