Solihull College’s Blossomfield Campus will be welcoming visitors to its grounds and Land-based Centre on Sunday 7 June between 10am – 4pm for the the annual Solihull College open house and gardens event.
Visitors will be able to watch flyball, dog and goat agility sessions and a bird flying display throughout the day on the beautiful gardens of Tudor Grange House.
Guests to the college will have the chance to explore the excellent facilities including Animal Care, which will be open throughout the day. The land based centre is a three-storey building home to a variety of animals at Solihull College, including the popular meerkats. Visitors will also have the chance to come in contact with a range of exotic animals including lizards, snakes, terrapins and turtles. The Land-based Centre at the College promises a fantastic day out for all the family.
Solihull College will also be showcasing their art facilities as visitors will have the chance to view the visual arts exhibition that will be on display. There will also be an arts and crafts fair for all those visiting the event to enjoy along with a dance performance just after midday.
Throughout the day there will be plant sales, face painting, entertainment provided by Solihull arts choir as well as a barbeque; plenty of entertainment for all of the family.
The event is being held at the Blossomfield Campus of Solihull College, Blossomfield Road on Sunday 7 June between 10am – 4pm; admission to the event is free and there is free parking available on campus.
