For post-18 and adult learners still feeling lost or unsure where to take their next step – or if to take their next step – into higher education, Solihull College has announced they are holding a Higher Education Open Day on Thursday 18th September at the Blossomfield Campus. This event will be for both full and part time learning.

The College’s University Centre is the first of its kind in the West Midlands and incorporates the associate partnership degrees the College has with Oxford Brookes University, University of Warwick, Coventry University and Birmingham City University. It allows learners to study a full university degree at Solihull College, without moving away to university.

The HE Open Day will feature the whole range of subjects on offer at higher and university level including; Business, Early Years and Childhood Studies, Health and Social Care and Fine Art. There will also be the opportunity to find out more about the range of management and professional qualifications from bodies such as CIM, ILM and AAT. In addition to this, the College will be accepting applications from HE students until the end of September.

Sue McGregor, Head of Curriculum at the College comments: “??This is one of the final chances to enrol on a higher education course at Solihull College for this academic year. We look forward to welcoming future students so they can see what the College has to offer and how it can play a part in their future”.

The College recently announced outstanding HE results from last year; in addition the College was voted one of the best for happy higher education students. The HE Open Day at Solihull College is on Thursday 18 September between 5pm-7pm; to find out more about this event please visit www.solihull.ac.uk/HE Event or call 0121 678 7000.
