Solihull College & University Centre recently came in the top 20 in the country in an FE Choices learning satisfaction survey carried out by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and Department for Education. The survey carried out across the country captured learners’ experiences of their college or organisation through a series of questions.
The purpose of the survey was to enable comparisons and scores to be calculated, to allow learners and employers to make informed choices about education and training. Key performance indicators were rated in the survey allowing for the country wide results.
College Principal, John Callaghan stated ‘to come so high in the country wide rankings in a learning satisfaction survey is a fantastic achievement. At Solihull College & University Centre student satisfaction is a high priority. We hope students want to progress and study further courses with us in the future as well as recommend the College to friends and family, so this is a much welcomed result’.
The latest rankings follow a Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Gold award for the College’s university level provision, demonstrating the high quality of teaching students receive.
