Staff from Solihull College & University Centre have taken part in Joe Wicks’ Movement Hour.
The initiative was created by the Body Coach for companies across the UK to commit to giving employees an hour away from their working day to prioritise their physical and mental health.

The College put on several activities across all campuses for staff to get involved with including spinning, wellness walks, basketball, badminton, table tennis and HIIT sessions.

Principal Dr Rebecca Gater comments: “I chose to join a group walk around our local park. It was a beautiful day, and it felt great to get some fresh air, soak up the sunshine, and have non-work-related conversations with colleagues from different departments.”

Rebecca continued: It’s moments like these that remind us of the importance of looking after our wellbeing. At the College, we are committed to supporting colleague wellbeing, and today’s walk is a wonderful example of how we put that commitment into practice.”
