Where will this course lead?

This Bootcamp for Procurement Excellence is an intensive and extensive program aimed at equipping participants with a deep understanding of procurement, strategic sourcing, negotiations, contract management, and sustainable procurement practices. The duration allows for a thorough exploration of the subject matter and the development of practical skills crucial for success in the procurement profession.

What will I study?

There are 5 modules covering the following areas:

• Foundations of procurement
• Strategic Sourcing and supplier management
• Contract management and legal aspects
• Advanced procurement strategies
• Specialised tools and industry trends

This will culminate with an employability skills workshop to aid application to gaining a qualification with Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

How do I get a place on the course?

Applicants are invited to send their current CV via email to bootcamps@solihull.ac.uk and then fill in the application form.

What are the entry requirements?

No formal entry requirements needed however only 19+ years of age who live in the West Midlands Combined Authority area postcode (Birmingham, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton) Coventry or Warwickshire need apply. Applicants must also fall into one or more of the following categories:

• Have a high interest in procurement and supply chain management.
• Have experience or work in a logistical setting.
• Have management and/or sales experience.

This bootcamp offers a versatile learning environment that caters to a broad range of applicants with varying levels of experience and career objectives.
