This 12 - week Creative Venue Technician Bootcamp provides comprehensive training for aspiring Venue Technicians, covering various aspects of theatre production such as technical skills, production management, set design, lighting, and sound.
This comprehensive training program covers essential technical theatre/ venue skills, safety protocols, and practical knowledge across various aspects of production, ensuring that participants are well-prepared for working in creative environments.

The bootcamp will be delivered at Blossomfield Campus, Solihull College & University Centre and Stratford-upon-Avon College. We've also successfully partnered with numerous local theatres and venues. The Venue Technician Bootcamp is open to anyone with passion and drive to work in the area of Technical Theatre or Venues. To qualify for this FREE* course, you must be over 19 years of age, live in the West Midlands Combined Authority area postcode (Birmingham, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton), Coventry or Warwick.
