Where will this course lead?

You will have some new ideas for activities to engage your children with and an understanding of how to support your child's learning through sensory activities and play.

What will I study?

This is a 2-hour workshop where you will make some Gruffalo themed items with your child to take away with you and play with at home. You will also be given an activity sheet with more cheap ideas for things to make at home. You will learn about sensory play and how you can use play to help your child learn. This is also a fun session to spend quality time with your child in a group of other parents and carers.

A fun arts and crafts session to learn about child development and create some activities to play with your child at home.

How will this course be delivered?

At Woodlands or Blossomfield campus for a 2-hour session.

What are the entry requirements?

You must be 19 years or older.

What can I do after this course?

We can offer family learning at your child's school - if you enjoy the session please ask your school to contact debbie.mcleod@solihull.ac.uk. We offer 10 week courses where you can learn how to help your child with their English and maths, learn about grammar, or even complete a English and maths course yourself.
