You will be more proficent in a variet of cake decorating techniques.

What will I study?

You were learn a variety of techniques for decorating cakes including: 

1. Butterflies, wired flowers: petunia and lily of the valley.

2. Swan cake topper with filler flowers and ribbons.

3. Wired flowers: Fuchsia and Arum Lily.

4 .Golf cake with modelled character golfer.

5 .Tuille baby bootees (using royal icing).

6 .Castle Turrets using flower paste.

7 .Gerberas and sunflowers.

8 .Broderie Anglaise and pressure piped lettering.

9 .Daisies and Honeysuckle.

10. Garden cake with modelled vegetables.

How will this course be delivered?

Weekly sessions for 2 hours that are delivered over 10 weeks

How will I be assessed?

Teacher will be monitoring progress every lesson to help ensure students can achieve. No formal examinations.

What are the entry requirements?

You must be 19+ to join the course and have some basic knowledge of cake decorating. If you are new to cake decorating please enrol on the beginners course. 

What else do I need to know?

You will need to supply the following items for the course

Approc 8 inch (20cm) round or square sponge cake 
Cake board larger than cake 
1kg white sugar paste/foundant icing 
Cocoa powder
Dusting brush 
Blossom cutters (optional) 
Small Clean paintbrush 
Edible glue
