ANIMAL WELFARE & VETERINARY NURSING

Working with animals can be an extremely rewarding career. With a host of animals living onsite including meerkats, reptiles, donkeys and birds to name just a few, studying Animal Management at Solihull College & University Centre will provide you with the hands on experience you’ll need to start your exciting career.

Our Land Based Centre encompasses specialist rooms to accommodate our diverse animal family. A large range of exotics including lizards, snakes, tortoises, fish and turtles are also enjoying life in our specially designed reptile habitats. External barns and paddocks house our larger animals including goats and pigs.

We are the only college within the local area boasting these enviable courses and amenities, attracting students from across the West Midlands and Warwickshire regions, including Birmingham and Coventry.

After completing the Level 3 course, students can progress on to a university level course here at the College or go on to university and study degree courses in areas such as Animal Biology or Animal Welfare.
