Where will this course lead?

The primary purpose of this qualification is to prepare learners for employment in the advanced non-medical aesthetic industry providing skin peeling techniques. Additionally, learners may choose to further develop their knowledge and skills by completing supplementary specialist qualifications at level 4 in one or more of the following areas: Laser and IPL, Skin Needling.

Advanced consultation of non-medical aesthetics'

Advanced skin care for non-medical aesthetics'

Provide skin peeling

How will this course be delivered?

The course will be delivered practically within a salon environment with additional online theory learning completed outside of the classroom hours.

10-week course.

What qualifications will I get?

VTCT(ITEC) Level 4 certificate in Skin Peeling.

How will I be assessed?

Through assignments, case studies, external examinations for both Theory and practical.

How do I get a place on the course?

Telephone interview.

What are the entry requirements?

Level 3 Beauty therapy or equivalent recognised qualification, industry experience.

What else do I need to know?

During salon time you will be expected to be in full professional beauty therapy attire. You will need to attend outside of the timetabled time for your exam which will be given to you 12 weeks prior to the date of the exam. There are case studies and assignments to complete.

What can I do after this course?

VTCT (ITEC) level 5 in Skin Peeling

VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 in Laser and Light therapy

VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 in Plasma Pen

Or any other Level 4 qualification

Work in industry within a salon, spa or self-employed as an advanced therapist for non-medical aesthetics.
