Where will this course lead?

This is an introductory course to screen printing. After completing this course, you may wish to embark on a more intensive course. 

You may decide to continue to create screen printed items that you may sell or give as gifts 

Screen Printing is a wonderful craft to get involved with. 

This course is for the complete beginner. It will also inspire artists and non-artists to explore and experiment.

What will I study?

  • You will learn how to do simple printing, using paper and during the course advancing to more elaborate detailed ones using a screen. 

  • Learning about composition and what makes a good design.  

  • You will learn how to layer up designs. 

  • At the end you will have completed a unique design that you will have screen-printed onto your chosen item. Maybe a T-shirt with your own Christmas design or a cushion, tea towel etc. 

  • You will have your own screen to take home thus giving you plenty of time to keep on producing unique designs for your personal satisfaction or for gifts. 

How will this course be delivered?

Once a week on a Tuesday evening.
