The second unit, "Internally assure the quality of assessment", gives you the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills through carrying out monitoring activities by way of supporting and developing others in their roles, and developing and improving processes within an organisation.
You will have a full year to complete the course, although, if you are experienced and wish to fast-track, there is an option to do so. The content is delivered through monthly one-to-one sessions, either face to face and online throughout the academic year. The knowledge-based unit content is covered in the first 5 meetings. Thereafter, sessions will cover assessment of assignments, requirements and preparation for competence-based activities, such as professional discussions and observation of practice.
