How will this course be delivered?

Offered through the Cisco Networking Academy at Solihull College, this course combines timetabled in-person classes with designated remote learning periods. It includes access to interactive online labs and extensive study materials, supporting your independent learning and practical skills development in our lab facilities. This blend of resources and teaching methods ensures a comprehensive and engaging learning experience in the field of digital support.

The course will be delivered three days a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) over 10 weeks.

The course will include some local employers who will participate in some master classes and will also provide learners with information regarding relevant job opportunities.

What qualifications will I get?

Upon successful completion of this course, you will earn the prestigious Cisco Certified Support certification. This valuable credential, recognized globally, is a testament to your expertise in digital support. Significantly, this certification does not expire, offering you a lifelong qualification that enhances your professional profile and opens doors to numerous opportunities in the IT industry.

How will I be assessed?

The course is structured to include a series of assessments and quizzes, providing ongoing evaluation of your progress. It culminates in a final examination conducted online through Certiport, ensuring a comprehensive assessment of your acquired skills and knowledge.

How do I get a place on the course?

Places are offered by interview, subject to meeting the entry requirements.

What are the entry requirements?

Learners must be over 19. Before attending this course, students must have an understanding of computer networks and be a proficient user of a PC.

Students should have a suitable PC with access to the internet.
