Where will this course lead?

Progression opportunities include moving on to CMI qualifications at the next level, for example the CMI Level 5 Certificate/Diploma in: Management and Leadership. 

What will I study?

You will study two units: - 

 · Principles of Management and Leadership 

· Managing a Team to Achieve Results 

Whilst on the course, you will be given professional membership of the CMI, which includes access to a range of CMI products and services to support you throughout the qualification 

How will this course be delivered?

The course is delivered fully online with 'real-time' interactive classes taking place on Tuesdays from 6-9 pm, using the MS Teams platform. 

What qualifications will I get?

CMI Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership 

How will I be assessed?

Each unit is assessed by one written assignment of approximately 2,000-2,500 words. 

How do I get a place on the course?

What are the entry requirements?

For entry onto this qualification learners will be practising or aspiring managers or supervisors with good literacy and numeracy skills. Candidates should ideally have a minimum of two years' experience in a leadership position. 

Whilst there are no formal entry requirements you will need to be able to meet the assessment demands. If you do not have evidence of GCSE or equivalent in English, you may be asked to undertake a written assessment. 

What can I do after this course?

You can 'top up' to complete further units and achieve the CMI L3 Diploma before progressing on to higher level CMI qualifications.
