Where will this course lead?

Want to make sure you can give your four-legged friend the best in an emergency? Then this is course for you. It covers everything you might need in an emergency from basic First Aid to dealing with shock and hypothermia.

It is impossible to predict when you may be presented with an emergency situation either with your own, or with someone else's dog. By having basic canine first aid skills, you will be able to provide a dog with vital care needed in the first 10 to 15 minutes of an injury or medical emergency.

This in turn, means very often a dog can be presented at a veterinary practice in a more stable condition allowing for a much more positive outcome.

What will I study?

  • Define what is Dog First Aid
  • Know how to prioritise the health and safety of themselves and others with confidence when presented with an emergency situation
