College students bring Christmas cheer to nursery
Thursday, 10 December, 2015

Plastering students at Solihull College & University Centre have been busy producing moulds for a local nursery.

The students spent time making the moulds including Christmas stockings, Christmas trees, bells, gingerbread men and houses which were then made into baubles. The baubles were then donated to Sunflowers Nursery in Great Barr for the children to paint and give to their parents as a Christmas gift.

This is an annual event for the College’s plastering students and the nursery receives the donation gratefully stating “the children really enjoy painting and decorating the various Christmas decorations, they are all very colourful and festive.”
