Khawar shifts from banking to cyber security, embracing teaching while pursuing excellence in the field.

Khawar’s journey towards cyber security led him to the College’s Blossomfield Campus, where he enrolled on the HND Computing (Cyber Security) course (with HTQ Status) after spotting a college advert.

Reflecting on his decision to join the program, Khawar expressed admiration for its comprehensive curriculum and flexibility, which allowed him to balance his studies with his family commitments. He comments: “The course syllabus impressed me from the outset. It fit seamlessly into my life, allowing me to pursue my education without compromising on my responsibilities towards my family. The support from the College, especially through the WMCA funding programme, has been invaluable in making this transition possible.”

Despite initially joining the program with a focus solely on furthering his own education, Khawar found himself drawn to the prospect of teaching. His exemplary performance led to an opportunity to lead the Digital Support Technician Bootcamp, a role he now fulfills with enthusiasm.

Khawar shares: “Teaching was not something I had initially considered, but the experience has been immensely fulfilling. It’s a privilege to impart knowledge and inspire others on their own educational journeys.”

Khawar’s journey exemplifies the transformative power of education and the limitless possibilities that arise from embracing new opportunities. As he continues his studies and ventures into the realm of teaching, Khawar remains committed to his pursuit of excellence in the field of cyber security.
