Dan Charlton, 23 from Birmingham, began his new role earlier this year at Electric House. The company createproduce, distribute and amplify video content through social media communities.

Dan originally applied to be a Production Assistant, but after two interviews the company offered him an even better role as a Producer, working on the ‘On a Budget’ element of the business – a social community for money savers.

Dan’s role sees him produce continuous original content. He comments: I have been loving the role and have been surrounded by an amazing team at Electric House in supporting me getting started.

He credits his college course for helping him on his career path: “I loved the chance to study film and it was made a much easier journey for me by having lecturers that were passionate about the course and my education as I always felt supported. I would recommend the course to anyone that is new to media production and wants to get some direction with where and how they start their careers.

Dan aims to one day progress to become a Creative Director within the industry.
