Media students impress with first film

5th November 2019

Media students at Solihull College & University Centre were recently set the ambitious challenge of making their own films as part of their first project on their new course.

55 first years are studying on level 3 Media this year so an impressive 55 films were created in the first 6 weeks of the academic year.  The brief was open, so the students could make a film based upon any theme or story important to them.

Tutor Lee Skinner stated; ‘The year group have done incredibly well, with students creating films that are really very impressive at such an early stage.’

Check out some of the work from students Alistair, Kiel, Isabella and Eve below.

Alistair Tudor: A boy wakes up in the woods

Isabella Burke-Hamid:  A disturbing horror

Eve Harding: A girl wakes in the afterlife
