Birmingham City Women and Solihull College team up once more for new kit
Thursday, 2 August, 2018

Birmingham City Women have unveiled their new kit for the start of the 18/19 season. Solihull College & University Centre have sponsored the team for a second year as back of shirt sponsors. The Women’s side will wear the same Adidas home and away kit as the Men’s team, Under-23s, Under-18s and Academy for the second year running, showing the unity between all the Club’s teams.

The kit reveal comes at an exciting period for Birmingham City, following on from the announcement earlier this month of a rebrand for the Women’s side.

The College and Birmingham City Women have a rich partnership and the College has worked with the development team for many years and played a key part in educating, training and hosting the future stars of Birmingham City Women.

Phillip Trilloe, Head of School for Sport and Public Services at the college stated, “It is fantastic to continue our support of Birmingham City Women and once more enhance our partnership that has been very successful over the last five years. I am sure both the football club and college will continue to have great success together.”

Chris Brewerton, Business Development Manager, Birmingham City Football Club, said: “The partnership with Solihull College & University Centre is a real ground-breaking community sponsorship for the Club. We are thrilled to be working with such an energetic and ambitious College and the relationship is proving to be so beneficial to our players.”
